Learning to swim through Play
At Snowden Swim School, we believe that swimming starts by building a positive relationship with the water. Whether fearful or fearless, each experience in or around water builds this relationship.
Emily uses a whole child approach to design individualized swim plans, then teaches the “swim-float-swim” method through play in each session.
In this home-based setting, children feel comfortable and safe as they learn to explore the water.

“We had such a wonderful experience at Snowden Swim School with our daughter, Clara! Emily was patient, knowledgeable, and so great with little ones, making each lesson feel encouraging and fun. Clara became more comfortable and confident in the water with every class. As a parent, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was learning important water safety skills in such a positive environment. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they gave her and highly recommend Snowden Swim School to any family looking for swim lessons!”
